The SyFy series Warehouse 13 is coming to an end after the fifth season.
The network recently announced that it was bringing the show back for another go-around. Unfortunately for fans of the program, the upcoming season will be the last.
Production on the final season of Warehouse 13 is expected to begin in Toronto this summer. The final six episodes should air on SyFy at some point during 2014.
“‘Warehouse 13’ has been an incredible signature series for us. We are grateful to the loyal and passionate fan base and know that Jack Kenny, his gifted creative team, and outstanding ensemble cast will give them an amazing finale season,” SyFy’s Mark Stern said in a recent statement.
The network is currently in the middle of airing the fourth season of Warehouse 13 right now. The finale is slated to air on SyFy later this summer.
Saul Rubinek, Eddie McClintock, Joanne Kelly, Allison Scagliotti, and Aaron Ashmore star in the popular drama. The series follows a group of agents who work at a top-secret warehouse in South Dakota that houses a host of strange, unusual, and supernatural relics. The heroes are charged with recovering lost items and retrieving new ones.
Since Warehouse 13 has a very loyal and dedicated following, a lot of fans are understandably disappointed that the series is getting canceled after next season. Many viewers shared their sadness with other fans on Twitter. A handful of their reactions have been included below.
I think it may be time for a serious “Save Warehouse 13!” campaign.
