Apple iPad Pre-Orders Begin At 8:30AM Friday Morning…Yawn

If you absolutely have to have the “cough cough…revolutionary….cough cough” Apple iPad the moment it releases because the screen on your iPhone isn’t big enough and you hate that pesky phone option, you can get your orders in starting on Friday at 8:30am Eastern.

Orders will then start shipping on the companies Wi-Fi only versions on April 3rd, followed later by the tablets 3G versions.

At this time Apple, Apple Stores, some premium retailers such as Best Buy and a few other premium resellers are expected to get the devices, with no word yet on a possible 3G carrier subsidized unit. [TUAW]

Personally, I’ll sleep through this one and then skip it completely for the rest of my life. What about everyone else? Are you getting up to buy a big phone-less iPhone? Yeah I know it has Adobe Air, but soon so will every other device on the market.
