Elgato Shows Off New Windows 7 Supported EyeTV Tuner
The original Elgato EyeTV Hybrid USB tuner was a bit bulky and didn’t support Windows 7, so today the company announced their newest USB flash drive based device which brings Windows 7 to EyeTV with a few other features.
The new device has been downsized by getting rid of the analog connector, although an adapter still comes with the device and they’ve replaced the casing with a much stronger aluminum outer shell that more closely matches the companies Mac roots.
If you’ve become accustomed to the companies old flash drive setup, you’ll still get the same over-the-air HD broadcasts your use to along with EyeTV 3 software and an included remote.
The cost? The same $150 you may have paid for the companies first device. [Engadget]
