Teacher Fired Over Bikini Photo: ‘I’m Too Sexy For My Job’
A teacher fired over a bikini photo seems to be taking her job loss in stride.
Olivia Sprauer, a 26-year-old mother from Broward County, Florida, was fired from teaching job at Martin County High School last month when bikini photos came to the attention of her principal. Using the alter ego Victoria Valentine James, the teacher had posed in bikini photos for XXXTremeVisionRadio Magazine and Miamiparties.com.
Since the news of the teacher fired over the bikini photo came out, pictures of Sprauer in various racy poses have turned up across the internet. She is seen in a see-through shirt and bikini bottom in one photo and another where she is an hands and knees. (The Olivia Sprauer modeling pictures can be seen online courtesy of the WPTV web team.)
Sprauer seems unapologetic for her bikini photos. Shortly after word broke that she was fired, Olivia (as Victoria Valentine James) wrote: “I’m too sexy for my job…Lol…”
The teacher has also said that she knew the risks involved when she got into bikini modeling and said it was still worth it.
“Lots of teachers get fired or asked to resign for the same things I did,” Olivia Sprauer told The Huffington Post. “I knew I didn’t want to come back next year and I knew I wanted to go to grad school so I decided if I made it to the end of the year I would be happy.”
She didn’t quite make it to the end of the year. On April 29, principal Alfred Fabrizio called the teacher into his office to tell her he had found her bikini photo, and she would be fired.
“I felt like it would have been nice for my students to finish out the year with me,” Sprauer said. “They trusted me and they made me happy so that aspect of it was sad.”
But now another side has emerged to the teacher fired over the bikini photo. Olivia Sprauer’s Facebook page shows that she keeps up on literature and feminist issues and has plenty of pictures of her two young daughters.
The teacher fired over the bikini photo seems to be moving on quickly after losing her job. She flew to Las Vegas for another photo shoot and said she would consider posing nude if the project were right.
