Olivia Sprauer: Teacher Fired For Bikini Pictures Says She Doesn’t Regret It, Might Pose Nude

Olivia Sprauer said she doesn’t regret the bikini photo shoot that cost her job as a teacher in Florida. In fact, the 26-year-old said she might even pose nude for the right project.

Sprauer was fired as a teacher at Martin County High School in Florida after the school’s principal learned of her racy photos. The former English teacher, who models under the name Victoria James, said she knew the risk she was getting into when she took the pictures and that it was worth losing her job over.

“Lots of teachers get fired or asked to resign for the same things I did,” Olivia Sprauer told The Huffington Post. “I knew I didn’t want to come back next year and I knew I wanted to go to grad school so I decided if I made it to the end of the year I would be happy.”

She almost made it that far, too. But on April 29 she had a meeting with principal Alfred Fabrizio, who told her he found her modeling photos and that she needed to resign.

Sprauer said she was disappointed to leave and not see students through to the end of the year.

“I felt like it would have been nice for my students to finish out the year with me,” Sprauer said. “They trusted me and they made me happy so that aspect of it was sad.”

But Sprauer also defended the photographs, saying they were tasteful. She added that she plans to continue her modeling career during graduate school.

“I don’t make pornography. I don’t open my legs on camera. I take swimsuit glamour style photography,” Sprauer said.

Olivia Sprauer seems willing to go much further, even posing nude. On her Model Mayhem page, she wrote that, “I am more than comfortable shooting TASTEFUL nudes for the right projects.”
