Jay-Z Is A Time Traveler, Proof Found At New York Library

Jay-Z is may or may not be a time traveler.

The singer was recently spotted in a photo from 1939 proving once and for all that time travel isn’t one of Hova’s 99 problems.

The photo was uncovered by the Schomburg Center for Research In Black Culture at the New York Public Library. The photo was taken in Harlem in 1939 by photographer Sid Grossman. The identity of the person in the photograph isn’t known but the man does look pretty familiar.

The Schomburg Center writes: “Does the man on the right remind you of someone? Perhaps it was his great-grandfather taking a break in Harlem in 1939. The photographer, we know for sure, was Sid Grossman.”

Jay-Z isn’t the only celebrity to get caught time traveling. Nicolas Cage and John Travolta have been both been caught traveling to different eras. Cage denied that he was a vampire but Travolta and Jay-Z have been quiet about the time traveling rumors.

What do you think? Is Jay-Z a time traveler?

The chances of Jay-Z actually being a time traveler are pretty slim but one does have to consider the fact that the singer recently wrote a few songs for the period piece The Great Gatsby. The timing doesn’t exactly match up (The Great Gatsby was written about the 1920s while the photo was taken in the 1930s) but the location is spot on.

Do you think Jay-Z traveled back in time to get inspiration for The Great Gatsby?
