Pink Just Keeps Getting Cooler
Pink of interview scuffles Down Under recently made news by addressing persistent lesbian rumors. For *some reason* (ahem), she’s been targeted as someone who regularly swings both ways and leans toward a full-on lesbian lifestyle, despite her past marriage to now ex-husband Carey Hart.
Pink obviously doesn’t care, since she’s said that she’s “proud” to be considered part of the group. Female First reports:
[...] Pink, who recently split from husband Carey Hart, admits she loves challenging the public’s image of her.
She says, “I’m proud people think I’m gay. Everyone has always thought I was gay because of the tattoos, the short hair, the attitude. But I don’t care. I love to challenge people’s preconceptions.”
And the star admits she would gladly use her fame to draw attention to the inequalities in American society, especially for gay people.
That is a little bit awesome, especially since Pink added “I’d go on a march for gay rights any time.”
