Jennifer Lopez Dodges Gunshots On South Florida Beach

Jennifer Lopez was enjoying a nice day at the beat this weekend when a couple of gunshots shattered the peaceful afternoon.

J-Lo, who was filming a new music video with Pitbull, was rushed off the set as authorities began to search for the gunman.

No one was hurt in the incident and it’s unclear if anyone was arrested. Police do not believe that the gunshots had anything to do with Jennifer Lopez or the music video.

The gunshots were first reported by Extra’s Rob Marciano who was interviewing Lopez at the time.

Marciano wrote on Twitter: “BREAKING: Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale Beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away … Can hear & see ambulances converging ~400 yards down the street. Police confirming: ‘shots fired. No one hit.’ Whew.”

The incident caused a little panic on the set but once authorities cleared the area filming resumed on the set.

Lopez and Pitbull haven’t commented on the gunshots but they did say that they were happy with the music video for the singer’s new song “Live It Up.”

A release date hasn’t been set for Lopez’ new album but the singer said that it would be here sooner than you think.
