‘Man Of Steel’ Releases New TV Spot

There’s a little over a month before we’ll get to see Henry Cavill take the Superman throne, and so far Warner Bros has done everything right to promote Zack Snyder’s version of Man of Steel.

This week Warner Bros has released the second TV spot for Man Of Steel. The TV spot doesn’t show us anything different from the first TV spot and the trailers released, but it’s always a thrill to see Henry Cavill, Michael Shannon and Amy Adams in action.

Late last month, first-time Superman director Zack Snyder opened up to SFX magazine about his vision for the Man Of Steel reboot. About the humanistic approach he took, Synder said: It’s a more violent experience. It’s raw. It takes effort to do it, and that’s what we were really going for. It’s almost like there’s this kind of Right Stuff quality to it.”

He continued talking about the journey of making the world we are all so familiar with. Talking about recreating the structure of Krypton, Snyder said he wanted it to: “be this kind of special place that’s immersive and totally different from Earth, but not unbelievable.”

A few years ago the hype was similar when it was announced that Superman Returns was hitting theaters. People were excited about lead Brandon Routh, who looked like fan-favorite Superman Christopher Reeve’s clone. In the end, Routh failed to impress critics and the film was universally panned as a failure.

Hopes are high for Henry Cavill and Zack Snyder to right all the wrongs that happened in 2006. Of Cavill’s performance, Snyder said:
“God, he’s so Supermanish it’s crazy! There was a telling moment – we put him in the Christopher Reeve costume, because we didn’t have a suit yet, we just had the old spandex suit.”
