Facebook Up, But MySpace Still Dominates

New figures release from Hitwise show that despite Facebook’s domination of the headlines, MySpace still remains the most popular social networking service in the United States.

MySpace controlled 73.82% of the social networking market in April, up 0.23% from March, compared to Facebook’s 14.8%. YTD figures show a 5% slide for MySpace compared to a 32% rise from Facebook, but with both figures starting from extreme positions.
