Amanda Bynes And Jenny McCarthy Get Into Tiff On Twitter

Amanda Bynes won’t be getting lunch with Jenny McCarthy anytime soon.

The two got into a major war of words on Twitter late Wednesday night after McCarthy spread a rumor that Bynes was in some kind of trouble with the law. It started when Jenny replied to a number of tweets from a publicist named Jonathan Jaxson, who claimed that the NYPD was called in to Bynes’ apartment in Manhattan.

McCarthy tweeted: “Police are at @AmandaBynes house. I hope they get her help. Enough of this circus. She needs help.”

Amanda Bynes did not take too well to the message. She shot back at Jenny: “@JennyMcCarthy I need help? What are u talking about? Aren’t u 50 years old? I’m 27, u look 80 compared to me! Why are you talking about me?”

But Bynes wasn’t done yet and threw some more insults the way of the VH1 host:”@JennyMcCarthy you’re ugly! Police weren’t at my house old lady! Shut the f–k up!”

For her part, Jenny McCarthy seemed sorry and wanted to end the mini-feud, tweeting: “Sorry girl. Looking out for ya.”

Bynes did not reply again after that.

That wasn’t the only strange Twitter behavior for Amanda Bynes on Wednesday. She also sent out a series of topless pictures showing the former Nickelodeon star lounging out in the bathroom in skimpy clothing. The pictures brought out a range of responses from her fans and followers, some supportive and others deriding her for the bizarre posts.

Bynes preceded in late April that by shaving half of her head, taking a page out of Miley Cyrus’ and Rihanna’s fashion books and sharing the pictures with fans on Twitter.

It’s been a difficult journey of late for Amanda Bynes, who has gotten in trouble with the law and is seemingly out of control in her home life. But at least she has things with Jenny McCarthy smoothed out.
