Casio Unveils EX-S7 and EX-Z35 Digi Cams

Casio today quietly announced two new cameras to their EXILIM line, the EX-S7 and EX-Z35 digital cameras.

Both units are point and click friendly and use the EXILIM Engine 5.0 which provides for lower power consumption levels and higher quality of images.

The EXILIM EX-S7 is a 12.1mp shooter with 3x optical zoom and a 2.7 inch LCD display. The S7 is also capable of 720p HD video recording and works with SD and SDHC cards.

The EXILIM EX-Z35 on the other hand is a 12.1mp shooter with 3x optical zoom lens and a much moreslim .8 inch profile. The Z35 also features a downgraded 848 x 480 video recording feature.

The S7 runs a respectable $139.99, while the Z35 will ship in March for $109.99

The big feature of the Z35 is its slim 0.8-inch profile. It can also record video, but only at a maximum resolution of 848 x 480. Both of the cameras have software for uploading video to YouTube. The S7 will sell for $139.99 this coming Spring while the Z35 will ship in March for $109.99.

Both cameras also come with YouTube uploading software, pretty standard these days, but still a nice feature to have. [SlashGear]
