Verizon Eyeing March 23rd Release Date For Nexus One [Rumor]

When CTIA arrives later this month the Nexus One could also be arriving at Verizon Wireless right alongside the trade show. A Google employee has been rumoring that the CDMA version of the device will launch on March 23rd, the first day of CTIA.

There’s also the possibility that the Vodafone model, expected to be released in April, will be announced at that same time.

No pricing has been announced, although SlipperyBrick seems to think the $179 price offered by T-Mobile will be slightly higher on Verizon. No word if an unlocked version for $529 will still exist, but given it’s a CDMA phone, I highly doubt it.

The phone should still contain the same 3.7 inch AMOLED screen, 5MP camera and 1GHz SnapDragon processor found on the GSM version.
