Steve Nash In Child Support Battle With Ex-Wife

Steve Nash doesn’t want to pay child support.

The NBA star is currently in a legal battle with his ex-wife Alejandra Nash over child support for their three kids. Nash argues that he shouldn’t have to give Alejandra monthly payments since he already made her millions in the divorce.

According to TMZ, a divorce judge sided with Nash earlier this month ruling that Alejandra was not entitled to child support since she was already a millionaire. Nash’s ex-wife has filed an appeal, however, and is hoping to get the Lakers star to chip in a little extra cash for their kids.

Alejandra argues that Nash makes about a million dollars more than her every month and that it’s not fair that he gets to keep all of that money instead of using it to benefit the kids.

But Nash says that he pays enough money for the kids. The NBA player reportedly pays 90% of all of their medical, school and extracurricular activities. Nash also pays the majority of his kid’s nanny’s salary.

Alejandra currently lives in Arizona with the kids but she is reportedly shopping around for a place in California. UPI reports that Alejandra would probably win her child support case if she was living with California laws.

On the bright sad, Nash’s legal troubles won’t distract from his time on the court. The Lakers have already been eliminated from the playoffs after an extremely disappointing season.

Do you think Steve Nash should pay more money for child support?
