Ian Ziering Welcomes New Baby
Ian Ziering and his wife Erin Ludwig recently welcomed their new baby into the world.
The former Beverly Hills 90210 star and his better half already have a two-year-old daughter together. It would appear that the little girls will share a birthday. Mia Loren was born on on April 25, 2011, while Penna Mae Ziering arrived on April 25, 2013.
“We didn’t plan it! Mia was born a week late and Penna was a week early,” he explained. [Mia] couldn’t wait to see her. When she saw Penna she said, ‘Baby sister!'”
Ian and Erin have been together since 2009. The couple announced their engagement back in February of 2010. They walked down the aisle together on May 28, 2010 in Newport Beach, California.
Ian Ziering will get to spend a few uninterrupted months with his new baby until he heads off to Las Vegas for a guest spot in the male dance revue Chippendales.
The actor explained that he was surprised to get the call since the folks at TMZ had poked fun at his weight. He described the gig as a “dream come true.”
Ziering explained in a statement:
“Actors and performers never know what their next job will be, and when I got the call from Chippendales, my jaw dropped as it came on the heels of TMZ calling me fat on national TV. I am passionate about health and fitness, so I’ve kept in shape, and dancing is something I’ve always enjoyed, so I figured why not? I am so excited to be a part of this iconic worldwide organization.”
Ian Ziering is probably best known for his work in the hit Aaron Spelling series Beverly Hills 90210 during the 90s. The actor portrayed Steve Sanders for 10 seasons on the show before calling it quits.
Fans who are interested in catching Ziering during his stint at Chippendales should start making plans now. He will serve as a guest headliner for four weeks beginning June 6 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas strip.
