Liam Gallagher: ‘I Might Reunite Oasis For $45 Million’

Liam Gallagher has declared that he will only reunite with Oasis for a hefty sum of money, stating he will need to pocket $45 million to appear on stage with his brother, Noel Gallagher, again.

Gallagher was looking to dispel rumors that the brothers had split to band to make a lot of money when they eventually got back together.

The singer told Q Magazine, “Listen, it’ll happen when it happens, but it ain’t a f****** game – it’s the real deal. I read a lot of people going, ‘Oh, it’s just a blag, innit? So they can get some more noughts on their big f****** comeback.’ But I’m still me and he’s gonna be him.”

Gallagher then concluded, “I ain’t changing for a million f****** pounds. I might do it for £30million ($45million).”

The Beady Eye frontman also stated that he thinks his passion for music and being in the band will eventually take its toll on him, and lead to his death. “I won’t die of a drug overdose or a f****** drinking habit. I’ll die of living and breathing and being in a band,” stated Gallagher.

“It won’t be over snorting a line off someone’s head or drinking a daft drink. It’ll be because I’m into it too much. I’ll die of caring too much,” concluded the Manchester native.

Gallagher’s new band will released their second album, BE, in June, following on from 2011’s, Different Gear, Still Speeding. They are set to play a number of festival gigs across Europe throughout the summer to promote the record.

Last weekend Gallagher was seen attempting to ride a dog in a north London pub, with a witness stating, “He was absolutely hammered. He tried to get on the dog’s back and they were just taking little steps – but it just didn’t work. It was really funny.”
