Acer beTouch E110 Quietly Gains FCC Approval

The Acer beTouch E110 gained FCC approval recently and the Android powered device is expected to arrive in Europe by march, followed by the U.S. at a later date.

The beTouch offers AT&T friendly 3G and operates on both the 850 and 1900MHz frequencies. The device also features a 2.8? QVGA touchscreen, comes with a built-in GPS receiver and provides integrated social networking connections for users.

Throw in a 3.2MP camera and 256MB ROM plus 256MB RAM that run on a 416MHz ST Ericsson PNX6715 processor and you’re left with a mid-range device that honestly doesn’t impress us, especially with the rather rudimentary design. Perhaps it will impress our friends to the north, rumors are pointing to a Canada release after the device reaches stateside. [SlipperyBrick]
