Covering Britney is cheaper for news networks

Alisa Miller, CEO of Public Radio International explains why even though Americans want to know more about the world, news networks are giving less coverage to foreign news.  News networks have reduced their foreign news bureaus by half.  The reality, as Alisa explains is that covering stories about Britney Spears is cheaper than covering foreign news.
