Nikon 1080P CoolPix P100 Gets Some Pre-Order Love, 3 To 5 Week Delivery

The Nikon 1080P CoolPix P100 has begun showing up for pre-order at various etailers, with Amazon being one of the only sellers willing to place a time table on the camera.

Amazon is claiming the 108op video shooter with H.264 video support will ship in “3 to 5 weeks” and will come with a relatively decent price tag of $399.

The camera also includes a 26x zoom lens, backside-illuminated sensor and HDR functionality. [Engadget]

Personally, I’m excited about such a competent device being offered for such a decent price. What do you think about the P100; Worth the wait or a waste of time?
