Matt Damon Renews Marriage Vows With Wife Luciana

Matt Damon and his Luciana renewed their wedding vows this weekend in St. Lucia.

According to People Magazine, the Caribbean Island celebration was attended by about 50 people. Damon’s four daughters, Alexia, Isabella, Gia, and Stella were all at the ceremony as well as some of Damon’s actor friends like Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta Jones, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Casey Affleck and Don Cheadle.

According to USA Today, Damon and Luciana have been married for 8 years. The two met at a bar in 2003 while Damon was filming Suck On You in Miami. They were married two years later in 2005 during a small private ceremony. The two decided to have a bigger party this time around when they renewed their vows.

A source told US Magazine: “They’ve wanted to do it for a long time … They had a tiny ceremony the first time, and wanted to celebrate with family and friends.”

Damon reportedly put down close to $1 million to rent out the entire Sugar Beach resort.

A source said: “It was a very family-oriented and happy celebration … Many guests brought their children (although Ben and Jen did not). After the ceremony, guests enjoyed an evening cocktail reception on the beach. Children were running around and playing with white parasols.”

Damon is currently working on The Monuments Of Men with George Clooney and he’ll have a few movies hitting theaters soon. Behind The Candelabra and Elysium will both be getting released this Summer.
