Artists can do some pretty amazing things with paint. Apparently so can artists who prefer to stand behind the camera.

A new viral video on YouTube has managed to rack up more than two million pageviews since going live on April 11, 2013.

Created by the well-known YouTube Slow-Mo Guys team, the video is rainbows of epic proportions.

The paint explosions were filmed by a camera running at 15,000 frames per second, around 600 times slower than human vison.

Keep in mind that no special effects were used to create the astonishing film.

You can try this stunt at home if you don’t mind accidentally painting your ceilings.
