Justin Bieber Gets Bromance Request From Charlie Sheen, Winning?

The celebrity Team Justin Bieber bench is going to have to make room for one more. Charlie “winning” Sheen has now entered the building.

The mercurial Anger Management star added his voice to the ongoing Bieber brouhaha while guesting on Conan O’Brien’s television show Thursday night.

How the topic of the subject Canadian superstar came up is a funny story in itself.

At one point in the show Sheen recalled a December incident when he’d tried to send a direct Twitter message to Bieber, but ended up sending out his personal number to millions of followers instead — earning him 1800 text replies within two hours.

The message he sent? “310-954-7277 Call me, bro. C.” The tweet has since been deleted and Sheen’s old number has been disconnected.

Sheen explained that he had just wanted to get in touch with the 19-year-old, saying, “I wouldn’t mind being his friend … Do you think he’d be our friend?”

To which O’Brien dryly replied, “I don’t think he wants anything to do with either one of us.”

“Dammit,” Sheen quipped back.

The outspoken actor joins One Direction’s Zayn Malik and Liam Tomlinson, Will Smith and wife Jada, Ne-Yo, Jessie J, Steve Harvey, Piers Morgan, Chris Brown, Russell Brand and Liam Gallagher in Bieber’s corner.

In other Sheen news, the star’s highly anticipated Anger Management episode with Lindsay Lohan debuted on Thursday and — surprisingly — wasn’t quite as risque as had been expected, although it had its moments.

As for Bieber, today marked the release of his official video for “All Around the World.” Featuring rapper Ludacris, fan reaction to the pre-announced surprise treat has been universally approving.

The singer is still touring in Europe but will shortly return to US shores for a performance at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 19. Other performers include Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Miguel and the incomparable Prince.

Do you think Charlie Sheen would be a “winning” friend for Justin Bieber, or do you think these two are better off apart?
