Riiflex Wii Remote Dumbbells Now Available For Health Conscience Gamers

If you’re serious about your Wii Fitness workouts you can finally get your hands on the Riiflex dumbbell sleeves, an add-on for your WiiMote that brings a bit of weight to your workouts.

The sleeves weigh 2lbs each and attach around the users approved WiiMote, with a 5lb version expected later this year.  The cost? $30 for a pair of the dumbbells, not bad considering a good pair of dumbbells can run around that same price.

Given the cutthroat nature of Wii peripherals we’ll either see more weight options soon or we’ll find the RiiFlex in bargain bins a month from now, in any case it’s a great “workout” addition that can help you stay healthy in the cold months of Winter. [Gizmodo]
