Olivia Wilde Wedding Date, Dress Designer Chosen, Maybe

Olivia Wilde’s wedding was the topic of discussion at a dinner Monday night at The General, according to the New York Post. Kristen Wiig, Norah O’Donnell, and Ari Graynor were allegedly present to hear the Tron actress describe her plans for the upcoming marriage to Saturday Night Live star Jason Sudeikis.

According to rumor, she’s going to have a spring wedding in upper New York state. Monique Lhuillier will design the bridesmaid’s dresses.

Olivia Wilde’s first wedding, to Italian filmmaker Tao Ruspoli, wasn’t quite that lavish. She married him on a school bus in 2003 when she was just 19. The marriage lasted eight years, ending in 2011.

Her new fiancé is 37 years old. She’s only 29. Yet she’s the one who sounds like she can’t wait to settle down and have kids. She recently commented that she “can’t wait for children. I’m open-minded about how many, but three, which I love, is like a little party.”

The lengthy engagement should give the lovely actress and model plenty of time to enjoy the planning. She’s seemingly everywhere at the moment — in Vanity Fairdressed as a showgirl, on the cover of the April Marie Claire, even in a candid shot with Tom Hanks gasping at the size of her engagement ring.

In a remarkable display of good taste, Wilde and Sudeikis reportedly celebrated their engagement with a two-hour lap dance at Penthouse Executive Club in Manhattan. Whatever floats your boat, Olivia, but if it was me, the engagement would have been over in about two seconds after that.

But how much of the New York Post report is true? Glamour magazine wedding reporter Kim Fusaro posted a four word message reportedly tweeted from Olivia Wilde about the NYP rumor: “Don’t believe the gossip.”

And, even if the story was mostly true, if the Olivia Wilde wedding is still a year in the future, there’s plenty of times for the plans to change.
