New York City’s luxury Peninsula hotel was the site of a failed murder suicide, in which socialite Gigi Jordan killed her 8-year-old son, reportedly over marital troubles.
Jordan, 49, was found in Room 1154 of the hotel located on Fifth Avenue, and police say she was “babbling incoherently” when she was finally tracked down. Her son Jude was lying on the floor nearby, face up and foaming at the mouth, dead of an apparent overdose. It is said that prescription medication was scattered around the room, as well as several “notes,” although it is unknown whether they were suicide notes. The boy is believed to have been dead for roughly a day.
Jordan is reportedly being uncooperative with the investigation and is not answering questions. The socialite left her home at Trump Towers on Columbus Circle on Wednesday night, subsequently checking into the Peninsula with her son. Police say she “paid the bill in cash, ordered room service and never left the room” after she checked in. Jordan reportedly had been in contact with an aunt in Belgium, threatening to kill Jude and herself. Her frightened aunt contacted the NYPD, and she was eventually tracked to the Peninsula. Police say Jordan was taken to Bellevue Hospital this afternoon after the body of her son was discovered.

if you’re hopeless about your own life, you’d probably be hopeless about your kid’s. on the other hand, sometimes people fall in to the trap of “if i can’t have him/her, no one can.”

She spent years selling drugs to people, useless drugs that confuse and maim, and ultimately kill humans.
She got rich on that, without a conscience. And in the end, she has been hit by her own weapons.
I am desperately sorry for her child, he was sent to her as a warning that her money was dirty. She did
not recognise that.

And of course the New York Administration for Childrens’ Services (“ACS”), in the face of all of this hardcore evidence and proof that this single mother was a violent, drug-addicted, psychotic lunatic, probably gave her a “clean bill of health” as a mother and told the father (probably a good guy) that he could see his kids “every other weekend.” Or perhaps some bogus “Battered Women’s Clinic” out there defended her for free, and claimed that she was merely an “abused woman” and represented her for free on the Taxpayer’s dime. Revoke ACS’s charter now!
