Sarah Palin the “intellectual” wants to name her next kid after an ice truck
The gift that keeps on giving. GOP VP candidate Sarah Palin has an interview in People magazine due out Friday, and what she has to say will surprise some readers.
Palin describes herself in the interview as an intellectual, and by that she meant smart, not a concept under copyright law, telling the magazine “you have to be up on not only current events, but you have to understand the foundation of the issues that you’re working on.”
The good news for Palin’s existing children Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper and Trig: if Palin has another child, she plans on naming it Zamboni.
If the name doesn’t ring any bells, it’s probably because you don’t live near an icerink: a Zamboni is a large truck-like vehicle that is used to clean and smooth the surface of an ice rink. There is a variation: Zamboni Driver, which apparently means “a caucasian female enjoying Canadians redefined for pleasure and dating.”
