Nicole Kidman To Make Cameo In ‘Anchorman: The Legend Continues’

Anchorman: The Legend Continues is growing with a cast that we can hardly keep track of. It seems like the legend Adam McKay is telling is an enormous story that will see more than a handful of excellent cameos. The new cameo that has been announced is the inclusion of Nicole Kidman.

Although Kidman isn’t the first person that comes to mind when we think of a Will Ferrell comedy, the two did star in that dreadful Bewitched remake, which failed to impress both critics and moviegoers.

Despite all of that Nicole Kidman is taking another stab at comedy under the guidance of Adam McKay. The Anchorman sequel, which is currently filming in Atlanta, got a set visit from Nicole Kidman. Kidman is said to have a very secretive role, and it is said to even go uncredited in the role. Although she remains uncredited, now that news broke out about the cameo we can’t wait to see if more news will come out about appearance.

In addition to Nicole Kidman’s cameo in the film, Vince Vaughn, and Luke Wilson, who are frequent collaborators with Will Ferrell and co. have already made their cameos in the new film.

So far Kidman will be joined by an ensemble cast of Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, Will Ferrell, and Christima Applegate, all who are reprising their roles. Then we have the new players in the mix who seem to fit in seamlessly like Kristen Wiig and James Marsen, the latter who often branches out to comedy and excels (think his scene stealing role in Death At A Funeral).

Besides Nicole Kidman’s cameo in the film, we’re most excited to see what will be cooked up by Harrison Ford’s appearance in the film. Hopefully he’ll have to tango with the channel 4 news team in a hilarious way.

Anchorman: The Legend Continues is slated for a December 20 release.
