Sony Ericsson X10 Vodafone Release Date Confirmed For April

Vodafone UK has put up a pre-order / pre-release page for the Sony Ericsson showing an arrival date of April 2010, a date that’s certainly in line with Japan and Germany release months.

The device, which has been hotly anticipated, features the Google Android Donut OS, an 8MP camera, built-in GPS and a widescreen output that’s perfect for video and gaming output.

Hopefully unlike past Sony Ericsson devices (especially the X1) we don’t see the release date creep back further and further into oblivion. In any respects the device looks sleek and offers an amazon mobile OS, so hopefully the date sticks and the hardware ends up matching the capabilities of the Android OS.
