Tom Cruise Hopes To Find Aliens During Space Journey

Tom Cruise has never met any aliens but he’s hoping that he’ll be able to change that sometime soon.

The A-list actor, who is currently starring in the sci-fi thriller Oblivion, said that he’s thinking about buying a $200,000 space tourism ticket.

Virgin Galactic recently started selling tickets for commercial space flights. Hundreds of people have signed up already, including actors like Ashton Kutcher, Russell Brand and Kate Winslet. Cruise hasn’t booked his seat yet but said that it’s a childhood dream to fly in space.

Cruise said: “Who wouldn’t want to do something like that? I’m going to let a couple of other people test it out first but it would be great. I was always hoping when I was a kid that we would be traveling to different planets by now.”

The actor said that if he does go to space he hopes that it ends with an alien encounter. Cruise said that he doesn’t have any proof that aliens exist, but then again, he doesn’t have any proof that they don’t exist, either.

Cruise said: “I don’t think you can actually count it out … It might be a little arrogant to think we were the only ones in all the galaxies throughout the universe — but I’ve never met one!”

Of course, this isn’t the first time that Cruise has talked about aliens. The famous actor is a Scientologist and believes that the human race was actually transported to earth about 75 million years ago by Xenu, the tyrant ruler of the Galactic Confederacy.
