‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ Launches On iOS

Injustice: Gods Among Us has finally launched. It just hasn’t launched in the format you are probably most excited to see. The iOS version of the game launched this morning and it seems to at least be one that can keep you entertained until the larger version is available.

The release of the mobile game already is a bit of a treat for gamers who have been looking forward to any ability to play the game. The demo for the full version was released this Tuesday and now this game, which was originally just due out sometime in April is available about 10 days before the console and PC version.

There does seem to be a few differences between the console and PC version and the iOS version. The controls certainly are probably a bit simpler, considering they mostly consist of tap and swipe.

Injustice Gods Among Us for the iOS is uses a team battle system, where you can tag heroes or villains in and out while the showdown is going on. In order to add to your team you will need to “purchase” trading cards. You can do this by actually paying money for the cards or by gaining points through battle.

The nice thing about being able to earn points is that you will never have to pay a dime for the mobile version. That mobile version is certainly nice looking enough that you’ll wonder why they gave it away for free.

The mobile version of the game is also completely free to play, which means that you can download it with the peace of mind that you won’t basically be buying the same game twice. What you will be doing, should you manage to get both games is have a system where the two versions will be able to interact in some way.

Just how the two will do that still isn’t entirely clear.

Are you going to get Injustice: Gods Among Us for the iOS?
