ReadBurner to launch categories tonight

Meme tracking service ReadBurner will tonight introduce categories as part of the rollout of the ReadBurner platform.

ReadBurner’s technology will allow content categorization on an open basis. While the site itself may suggest certain categories, the interesting part is with the Platform, that will allow developers and publishers to utilize ReadBurner sharing data in their applications in thousands of different categories created dynamically from thousands of different sources.

The Inquisitr was the first partner to sign up to the closed beta program, and we’ll have better access to the platform tomorrow for a more in-depth review, so apologies for being light on detail.

The commitment to offering developers and site owners access to categorized and unique popular link data was shared on tonight’s ReadBurner podcast. The details are towards the end of the show (embedded below).
