RG3 Goes On Twitter Rant, Defends Brittney Griner

Robert Griffin III was a little upset when the Baylor Bears lost in the women’s NCAA tournament. RG3 went on an hour long Twitter rant complaining that Brittney Griner was viciously fouled throughout the game.

The Baylor Bears had the No. 1 seed heading into the tournament but they were defeated by Louisville on Sunday.

Griffin, as well as several other Bears fans, were stunned by the loss.

The Baylor Bears star player, Brittney Griner, is one of the best players in women’s college basketball. She’s a dominant force and helped the Bears win 32 consecutive games.

Grimer could not, however, lead the Bears to an NCAA Championship this year.

But that may not be Britney’s fault. According to RG3, the Louisville team used a “Hack-A-Shaq” strategy on Griner this weekend and the refs didn’t give the Bears any calls.

Griffin said that he tried to keep quiet about the game but after stewing for a few hours he had to vent. And RG3 certainly vented.

For nearly an hour Griffin ranted on Twitter about how the Bears were robbed of an NCAA title.

Griner is frequently the subject of mean-spirited jokes calling her a “man” in a woman’s game but that’s only because she’s such a dominant player. Griner, who stands at 6’8? let the AP’s All-American Team this year. Griffin averaged 23.4 points this season on top of 9.4 rebounds and 5.2 blocks. In order to stop college basketball’s best player, Louisville made sure that Griner didn’t get any easy shots.

What do you think about RG3’s Twitter rant? If you lost a little respect for the Redskins quarterback for voicing his opinion, well, RG3 doesn’t really care.
