‘Primal Carnage: Genesis’ Coming To The PS4 [Video]

Primal Carnage: Genesis is headed to the Playstation 4. Following closely on the heels of the announcement that Blacklight: Retribution would be released on the PS4, Sony announced this original PC game is getting the next generation console treatment as well.

While there have been some people who have been less than impressed by the Playstation 4, there is still plenty of excitement surrounding the titles that are heading to that platform.

Part of the excitement over these announcements is that right now Sony is the only console maker that has acknowledged that they actually have a next generation console coming.

Primal Carnage: Genesis is a game that is centered around a world where dinosaurs have been brought back to life. You will be able to interact with some of the most popular behemoths such as brachiosaurus and the tyrannosaurus rex as well as smaller dinos like the velociraptor.

Lukewarm Media is developing the game and has pointed out that this is not going to be a port of the computer game but rather a title built from the ground up for the PS4 based on the original.

Sony and Lukewarm have both talked about the fact that this game will be running on the Unreal 4 engine as that is the engine of choice for both companies.

The companies promise a realistic look and feel of the world in the game as you would expect from any next generation game.

There hasn’t been an official release date named for the game, but it is safe to assume that it will be available by the time the actual console launches.

There also hasn’t been an official launch date for the Playstation 4 just yet, but most experts assume that it will certainly be out before the holiday shopping season goes into full swing.
