Kristen Stewart came, saw the slime, and conquered at this year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
Nominated for two KCA awards, The Twilight Saga graduate cemented her win for the same award last year and won Favorite Movie Actress for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, as well as picking up Favorite Female Buttkicker for Snow White And The Huntsman.
Radiant in a blue two-piece, top and shorts ensemble designed by by Osman Studio, Stewart was clearly up for a laugh as she claimed her accolades on the stage.
The 22-year-old escaped a full ‘sliming’ but gamely stuck both her hands into the green goo that is so much a part of the KCA experience.
Accepting her orange blimp trophies from totally drenched presenters Sandra Bullock and Neil Patrick Harris, Stewart said:
“Dude! I was too much of a coward to accept this and now I’m like ‘What was I thinking?’ Okay, yo! So, Nickelodeon’s been my fave forever … and I don’t know this is really cool, I really appreciate it. ‘Twilight’ fans have been like overwhelmingly amazing forever, and I had a shirt in kindergarten, it said, ‘Kick butt first. Take names later.’ So, thank you very much for honoring me in this way, I feel like finally realize my kindergarten self, so thanks guys.”
Considering the scale of the KCA awards, Stewart’s victory against contenders like Jennifer Lawrence is no small feat. Over 350 million votes were cast online in more than 20 categories covering film, books, television, music and sport, and the Los Angeles event was broadcast around the world in more than 25 countries.
Stewart’s delighted fans tweeted pictures of the star making nice with Spring Breaker’s actress Selena Gomez.

Recently reuniting with her Twilight co-star and beau Robert Pattinson — who just wrapped on David Michod’s The Rover, likewise Stewart is also branching out from her recent franchise past.
The California native has been cast in Steven Shainberg’s The Big Shoe with Elizabeth Banks and Jim Sturgess, and is also attached to Glen Ficarra and John Requa’s (Crazy, Stupid, Love) grifter caper Focus.
