Miranda Lambert Allegedly Threatens To Punch Store Owner

Lambert Threatens Woman

Country music singer Miranda Lambert has been accused of threatening to punch a shop owner in Oklahoma.

The Nashville Star winner was visiting an antique shop near her business in Tishomingo when the incident allegedly took place. Lambert was apparently quite unhappy when the store owner acquired retail space Miranda was interested in purchasing.

Melanie Peden said the singer was very unhappy about the situation. During her confrontation with Lambert, Peden said she was threatened with physical harm.

“She had a complete meltdown and threatened to ‘punch me in the mouth’ if I kept talking,” she explained to The National Enquirer.

The antique store owner added, “I was stunned and a little bit scared too, because she was growling and yelling at me like a crazy lady. She’s got a real anger problem and needs help. But I stood my ground and asked her to leave my store.”

Peden said she filed a police complaint against the singer over the confrontation.

Although stories printed by The National Enquirer should be taken with a grain of salt, authorities are reportedly investigating the threat. Police have yet to discuss the matter with Miranda Lambert as of this writing.

Peden said Lambert had previously been interested in acquiring the property that currently houses the antique shop. Although the owner knew Miranda had previously expressed interest in the space, she didn’t know she was actively pursuing it.

“(Lambert) blurted out that I stole this property from her. I knew she was inquiring about this property — four years ago — but she never had a contract with a realtor. I was shocked when she became so angry with me for buying it so many years later,” she explained.

Unfortunately for the singer, this isn’t the only news story about her personal life currently making rounds. Reports earlier this week suggested she and Blake Shelton had ended their relationship. However, both parities have since laughed off these allegations.

Oy. Melanie Peden was the realtor who showed the space to Miranda several years ago. She bought the place herself, apparently thinking Miranda would pay more to buy it from her (which is unethical), but Miranda didn't bite. The antique shop is NOT owned by Melanie, just the space, and she called Miranda a bad name several times during the conversation/altercation, so of course Miranda stood up for herself. Melanie has always been a troublemaker.

Ih really? Were you there? I bought thr building because it was a bargain and for the record they had months to purchase the building before I gave notice that we were going to buy the building if they didn't act. There were foer people last time the building was shown to them. Blake, Miranda, their realtor and me, so I find it peculiar that you seem to know so much about the transaction from 4 years ago. hmmm.

Furthermore the building has never been for sale since I bought it!

Just because I'm not in Tishomingo, doesn't mean I don't know what's been going on in Tishomingo.

Clearly from your statement you don't have your facts straight.
