‘Assassin’s Creed 3’ DLC ‘Tyranny Of King Washington’ Gets New Trailer

Assassin’s Creed 3 DLC Tyranny of King Washington has a new trailer that focuses on Ben Franklin.

The second part of the Tyranny of King Washington DLC is titled “Betrayal,” and promises to be the second of three parts.

It seems Connor is getting super powers now, as in the first part he ate magic tree bark to gain the powers of a wolf, which apparently include invisibility and summoning spirit wolves. This time around, Connor gets the ability to fly like an eagle for short distances.

All weirdness aside, Connor must enlist the aid of Ben Franklin to help him take down King George Washington, the greatest madman America has ever seen. And since America was barely a nation at that point, that wouldn’t be saying much.

The trailer starts with George Washington in a field with a burning building in the background. We then see bodies lying in the streets and hung from lamp posts as a voice-over chimes in, “George Washington. After leading the American revolution, he seized power as King, and oppressed his people.” George Washington is seen holding up a torch and scowling, gritting his teeth. A lynch mob shoots a man and woman against a wall.

Another voice-over says, “Every man holds evil deep within them,” and then laughs.

Then we see ship masts and Connor sitting atop one, and then he’s sneaking up behind a soldier in the rain, extending the blades of the assassin, and stabbing the soldier in his lower back.

The original voice-over continues, “One man has led the resistance against this madness.”

Connor speaks to someone, “The only way to end this is to get Washington.”

The voice-over resumes, “But for victory to be possible, he must convince one founding father; Benjamin Franklin.”

The rest of the trailer is below.
