2013 NCAA March Madness Bracket Unveiled

It’s time to fill out your 2013 NCAA bracket.

The NCAA Selection Committee revealed the 68 teams that will be fighting for college basketball’s championship this year.

Kansas, Indiana and Gonzaga all earned No.1 seeds but Louisville was crowned the overall No.1 team.

Kansas, Indiana, Gonzaga and Louisville should be safe through the first round (as a No.1 seed has never lost an opening round game) but crazy things have happened in the tournament before. This year especially is set up for some big upsets. The No. 1 team during the regular season was bested seven times during the regular season.

So who will get the chance to make history? Before the official tournament starts the “First Four” will battle for a spot in your March Madness bracket. N.C A&T and Liberty will fight for a chance to take on Louisville and the winner of LIU Brooklyn vs. James Madison will face Indiana. Kansas already has Western Kentucky lined up and Gonzaga will play Southern University.

(Boise State, La Salle, Middle Tenn. and St. Mary’s California will also compete in the “First Four” for a chance to play in the tournament.)

Now that the bracket has been released, it’s time to predict the future. Of course, it’s pretty much impossible to pick a perfect bracket. According to CSN, there are 9.2 quintillion (9,223,372,036,854,775,808 to be exact) possible bracket combinations.
