6.0 earthquake rocks Guatemala
A quake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale, 64.2 miles deep and centered 60 miles southeast of Guatemala City struck this morning in Guatemala.
The quake struck on the Pacific coast near El Salvador and was felt “strongly” in the capital city.
“We felt a tremor that was a bit strong. We are monitoring the area but there is no damage here. It was a light movement that lasted for a few seconds,” said Luis Medina from the Guatemalan tourist office in Puerto Quetzal, on the south coast.
No serious injuries or damage from the quake has been reported. Following the earthquake in Haiti last week with a magnitude of 7.0 on the Richter scale, smaller quakes occurred in Venezuela and Argentina as well as Guatemala.

What’s with all of these earthquakes? It’s the end of the world as we know it. I guess it’s really no one’s “fault”. Get it? “Fault”? Thanks. I’ll be here all week.

There have been wars and earthquakes for thousands of years prior to this past week. It is not the end of days. My bible says that no one but the Father knows when that time is going to be. It is best to keep yourself ready at all times and have faith.
