Apple Rumor Mill: 22-Inch Capacitive Touchscreen iMac Due Out In 2010

If you’re in the market for a touchscreen computer and you don’t mind waiting until some undisclosed time in 2010 to pick one up, you may be able to get your hands on a 22-inch capacitive touchscreen iMac.

According to DigiTimes:

Apple reportedly plans to launch a 22-inch touch-enabled all-in-one PC in 2010.

They back up those claims by naming Quanta as the outsourced company, with “Taiwan-based Sintek Photronic supplying the touchscreen panels.”

While we don’t know if this is in fact a true story, the release of an Apple Tablet gives some credence to the idea of touch screen iMacs appearing before the end of the year. Time to get ready for plenty more Apple rumors in 2010!
