‘Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger’ Gets New Trailer [Video]

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger got a brand new reveal trailer that shows that the series is apparently getting back to its roots. The series had reportedly taken a very wrong turn when it went from the “Old West” into modern times with the 3rd installment, but it appears that Ubisoft has learned from its mistakes and gone back to where it belongs.

The fourth installment of the series, is finally being officially revealed after the developers went so far as to send out a questionnaire asking what players would like to see in the latest title. The new trailer shows the fruits of that labor, allowing you to play as a man out for vengeance against some of the most well known criminals of the era.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger allows you to go after Billy the Kid, Jesse James and a host of other famous baddies. The player gets to step into the shoes of Silas Greaves and take on these outlaws in explosive ways that will most probably excite anyone who hung on after the disastrous release of Call of Juarez: The Cartel.

The game is set for release on PC, Xbox Live Arcade and PSN sometimes in “early 2013.” The exact release date still has not been revealed but should you head to Pax East you can apparently try your hand as Greaves.

Gunslinger will apparently allow you to rack up points while you go on your rampage that will in turn allow you to upgrade your character and your weapons. Quicker reload times and other bonuses can be purchased by cashing in these points.

Just a week ago, Gunslinger gave us out first look at the backdrop of the game, but this new trailer gives us a far better feel for what the player will actually be doing.

Check out the Call of Juarez: Gunslinger reveal trailer below. Then head to Pax and tell us how it plays.
