Target introducing ‘Video Game Setup’ service for $99

Are you breathtakingly bone-idle? Or God-defeatingly thick, perhaps?

If so (and you also like burying money in your garden and/or throwing it down drains), Target will soon begin offering a service tailor-made for your type. From later this month, the retailer will install new games consoles for customers. The charge? A mere $99. Because looking at the instruction manual is just too damn hard.

According to the advert above, somebody will come to your house, plug your console in, set up your router, organise an online account or five for you, and then leave to laugh all the way to the bank.

All of which begs the question: what’s the longest it’s taken you to set up a new console? I think I spent fifteen minutes on my Xbox 360 and roughly the same on my PS3. That would make this a $400-per-hour role.
