Jessica Simpson Gives Hint About Sex Of Baby On Ellen Show

Jessica Simpson gave a hint about the sex of her unborn baby while appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres show, and it looks like the singer is having a boy.

On her appearance, Simpson talked about how surprising it was to find out that she was pregnant for the second time in a year, the Daily Mail reported.

“We were definitely extremely shocked,” Simpson said. “Apparently, protection just went out the window. I feel like I’m always pregnant. We’re very happy.”

She and fiance Eric Johnson confirmed back in December that they’re expecting another. Even before Jessica Simpson dropped the hint, there was speculation that she was going to have a boy.

When Ellen asked her what the sex of the baby would be, Simpson said she didn’t know. But Ellen pushed even more, asking Jessica to pick between two different onesies — one that said I love my brother, the other that said I love my sister.

Ellen handed Jessica the “brother” one, and Jessica Simpson didn’t refute the hint.

“Maybe I’ll take this one,” Jessica said. “If it’s a girl, she might call him bro.”

Jessica Simpsons dropped another hint about her baby before, and it also implied that she’s having a boy.

“[She’s] told people she’s going to name the baby Ace!” a source was quoted telling US Weekly magazine.

At the very least, the source said that Jessica and her fiance will not be picking any crazy names. Her daughter’s name is Maxwell Drew.

“It’s nothing shocking and nothing you’ll have to add to the dictionary. Still, when people hear it they’ll know …why,” she told Elle magazine last year, when asked about her name choice.

Simpson has also said that she isn’t put off by the idea of having two children so close together, calling motherhood a “dream.”
