Rita Ora Calls Rob Kardashian Mentally Unstable, Says They Were Never In A Relationship
Rita Ora has served Rob Kardashian with a solid one-two punch over the toxic Twitter attacks he posted about the singer last year, and claimed that she never thought they were in a relationship.
According to MTV, Ora revealed her side of the story to Australia’s Sunday Telegraph Style magazine. Of Kardashian, the 22-year-old singer said:
“I never thought it was actually a relationship, in all honest. I never mentally defined it as ‘boyfriend, girlfriend’. When I split up with him, I said, ‘It’s because I’m never there, I don’t know how to do it.’ That’s all I said, then… the rest happened. He obviously felt that creating myths was the way forward.”
“When you are involved with someone for a while and they decide to express their feelings to the public, well, that’s not my personal way of therapy but I guess everyone takes split-ups differently.”
“You should have to sit an exam before you go on Twitter. To see if you’re mentally stable.”
Ouch.
To recap, on December 3 last year, a jilted Rob Kardashian took to Twitter and accused an unidentified female — but to all intents and purposes aimed at Ora — of cheating on him with “nearly 20 dudes” in a series of now-deleted posts.
A day later, the 24-year-old reality star continued his venomous attacks on the singer by claiming that he had impregnated her. He later deleted his comment and then attempted to backtrack by pretending he had not been referring to his recent ex-girlfriend, the Mirror writes.
Kardashian,who said he gained “40 pounds” while dating Ora, later defended his actions during the February 17 episode of Kourtney Kim Take Miami,saying:
“I posted what I posted to keep myself from taking her back. Every time she messed up, I took her back for over a year now. I just had to do that to make her hate me.”
Mission accomplished.
Back in December, Mail Online reported that Ora and Kardashian had been in a relationship that may have begun in secret in May 2011. In October, however, Kardashian posted a tweet picture of the pair de facto suggesting they had gone public.
In the Australian interview, Ora did have some kind words for another Robert though. The singer, who says she’s single, admitted she’s got a crush on Robert Pattinson. “I never even knew he was British. I thought he was American,” she said.
The Kosovo born singer recently completed a eight-date UK “Radioactive Tour” on February 9 on the back of her successful debut album Ora, and is confirmed to play the main stage at the UK’s V Festival in August.
