Paris Jackson is now a cheerleader for her high school varsity team.
The daughter of Michael Jackson recently tweeted an image to her millions of Twitter followers showcasing her cheerleader outfit. Paris reportedly cheers for the Sherman Oaks Buckley School’s boys basketball team in California.
According to Yahoo! News, the image of Paris Jackson as a cheerleader was taken prior to the school winning the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section.
Coach Mike Hamilton said of the accomplishment:
“I’m so excited for our community. They are the reason we won CIF. Everyone has been so supportive and kind. We have been feeding off of their energy for several games now. Our fans, faculty and staff are continuing to carry us across the finish line.”
Paris Jackson has attended the private school for over three years. The institution has helped keep the teenager out of the spotlight following her father’s passing.
Michael Jackson’s daughter recently unveiled her new “rocker look” on Twitter just a few days ago. The Inquisitr reported that Paris’ new look came complete with short hair, dagger earrings, and an intentionally torn shirt.
Her post included a photo of her new look and the caption: “Late night creativity.”
Paris isn’t the only one of Michael Jackson’s children to branch out as of late. The Hollywood Reporter revealed last month that Prince Jackson would appear on the season finale of the CW series 90210.
Prince said of his future in entertainment:
“I’m looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter and actor.”
In addition to his role on 90210, 16-year-old Prince will serve as an on-air correspondent for Entertainment Tonight.
