<p>This video is actually a little old, but it&#8217;s the first I&#8217;ve seen of it, so I thought I&#8217;d put it here to remind everybody of what <em>heartless dickshoes</em> people can be.</p>
<p>The story in a nutshell: the kid above eagerly ripped open his gifts on Christmas morning to find the present he had always dreamed of: an Xbox 360! Except &#8230; it wasn&#8217;t an Xbox 360, see. <em>Hilariously</em>, it was an Xbox 360 <em>box</em>, packed with winter clothes. <em>HA HA HA!</em></p>
<p>As it dawns on him that he was cursed with the unfunniest parents ever, his family guffaws loudly at the brilliance of their magnificent joke, urging the camera to &#8220;get a close-up&#8221; as their son starts to cry and his heart slowly breaks.</p>
<p>Yay, Christmas!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="476" height="385" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/oR4_Dk-odqY&amp;hl=en_GB&amp;fs=1&amp;color1=0x5d1719&amp;color2=0xcd311b&amp;border=1" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="476" height="385" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/oR4_Dk-odqY&amp;hl=en_GB&amp;fs=1&amp;color1=0x5d1719&amp;color2=0xcd311b&amp;border=1" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object></p>
<p>Mercifully, there was a heartwarming conclusion to this sad tale: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/02/29/worst-parents-in-the-world-punk-kid-into-thinking-he-got-an-xbox/">tech site Engadget later hooked the kid up with a console to call his own</a>. And I for one hope his family never get to play it.</p>
