This video is actually a little old, but it’s the first I’ve seen of it, so I thought I’d put it here to remind everybody of what heartless dickshoes people can be.

The story in a nutshell: the kid above eagerly ripped open his gifts on Christmas morning to find the present he had always dreamed of: an Xbox 360! Except … it wasn’t an Xbox 360, see. Hilariously, it was an Xbox 360 box, packed with winter clothes. HA HA HA!

As it dawns on him that he was cursed with the unfunniest parents ever, his family guffaws loudly at the brilliance of their magnificent joke, urging the camera to “get a close-up” as their son starts to cry and his heart slowly breaks.

Yay, Christmas!

Mercifully, there was a heartwarming conclusion to this sad tale: tech site Engadget later hooked the kid up with a console to call his own. And I for one hope his family never get to play it.
