Honey Boo Boo Girl Scout Cookie Sales Continue, Despite Criticism

Support the Girl Scouts by buying Girl Scout Cookies from Honey Boo Boo Child.

Honey Boo Boo Girl Scout Cookie sales are still underway, despite drawing criticism from the Girl Scouts of the USA. So if you’ve been hesitating to get your yearly fix of Thin Mints and Samoas, then there’s still time to do so.

Mama June recently took to the official Alana Thompson Facebook page to advertise that the bite sized beauty queen is still taking orders for Girl Scout cookies, for $3.50 a box, plus shipping and handling. All Girl Scout cookies boxes will come autographed by the entire family, and will also include an autographed family photograph.

Honey Boo Boo Child isn’t actually a Girl Scout, but enlisted to help sell the ever so popular Girl Scout cookies to help out a friend and her local Girl Scout troop. Honey Boo Boo and Mama June unexpectedly received flack from the Girl Scouts of the USA, and was asked to remove her banner from her official Facebook page (shown above,) which advertised her cookie sales. The GSUSA told Honey Boo Boo’s site administrator that selling cookies online is “off limits,” because the point of selling Girl Scout cookies is to foster people skills, goal setting, etc. The GSUSA also told Alana Thompson (aka “Honey Boo Boo Child,”) that advertising her Girl Scout cookies to her thousands of Facebook fans (currently totaled at 704,741) was “unfair” to the other Girl Scouts selling cookies.

Despite Mama June and Honey Boo Boo’s warning from the GSUSA, Honey Boo Boo Girl Scout cookie sales will continue as usual for the former “Toddlers and Tiaras” star, with Mama June telling TMZ that:

“If I can raise more money for a troop, whoever they are, especially in an area where they don’t get a lot of money, and parents can’t afford to buy a ton of cookies, why wouldn’t I help?”

She added, “We’re doing nothing wrong.”

If you’re interested in picking up a box (or 10) from Honey Boo Boo Child there’s still time for you to place your order. Orders can be placed by checking out Honey Boo Boo’s official Facebook page and getting all of the information, or sending your order via email to:

I don't eat girl scout cookies, but I'd love to get an autographed picture from Honey Boo Boo and family, and support the Scouts, which I think is a great organization! 😀

It's unfair to the other troops that are following the rules for sales and teaches the girls the wrong lesson all together.

If anyone who doesn't eat Girl Scout cookies wants to help support Girl Scouts, you can just give a donation to your local council or find a troop and volunteer your time to help out. Alana is not a Girl Scout – if she really wants to sell cookies, she should register as a Daisy or Brownie and sell them the right way, by asking those people that she knows personally.

If she or her mom are not registered Girl Scouts they should not be selling these cookies, especially on Facebook. Both of these things go against Girl Scout policy.

What do you expect from a family like that? They will do anything they want and forget about what is "Honest and Fair" Please do not buy from her but support the Girl Scouts in your area.

TLC take a look at what is happening? Is this what your from the former "The Learning Channel"? I really would not want this type of actions from one of your so called "stars".

    People boycott her show!
