New ‘Iron Man 3’ Poster Pops Up In Theaters And On Tumblr [Photo]
A new international poster for Iron Man 3 is popping up in theaters. The new image, showing a battled-damaged Tony Stark sans-helmet climbing out of the water and bracing for a fight, was not released to the internet. Lucky for us, some sharp-eyed Tumblr user snapped a picture of it in a theater and put it on their thread.
The poster also shows several of Tony Stark’s armor suits flying around in the background, which makes us wonder “who the heck is piloting them?” ScreenRant notes that there’s a rumor floating around that Iron Man will have to fight some 40 of his own suits, and this poster seems to lend some credence to that.
Here’s a synopsis for Iron Man 3 from Coming Soon:
“Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. Iron Man 3 stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau, Ben Kingsley and Wang Xuequi. It will open in 2D, 3D, and IMAX on May 3, 2013.
