Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix Coming To PS3 This Fall

Square Enix and Disney Interactive have announced the upcoming release of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix in North America and Europe this fall.

“I’ve been having these weird thoughts lately … Like, is any of this for real … or not,” a quote from Sora, the game’s main character.

The game, first announced at last year’s Tokyo Game Show, will bundle together the original Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, with trophy support for both. The package also includes Kingdom Hearts Final Mix content, such as new enemies, weapons, abilities, cut scenes, and missions.

Gamezone reports that the 1.5 ReMix will also feature HD cinematic videos from Kingdom Hearts 358/2, a game that is only available on the Nintendo 3DS.

For those that aren’t familiar with the game, Kingdom Hearts takes characters from Disney franchises, like Aladdin and Pinocchio, and combines them with a unique story line that revolves around the character Sora searching for friends he has lost.

A firm release date hasn’t been announced just yet, but according to IGN, the game will be exclusively available on the PlayStation 3.

Kingdom Hearts fans rejoice, with this release comes the opportunity to play your way through the entire story line — something that most fans probably haven’t been able to do.
