Channing Tatum Says Wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum Will Give Birth In London

Channing Tatum spilled the beans on the upcoming birth of his child with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum Sunday night.

On the red carpet at the Oscars, Tatum told E! interviewer Ryan Seacrest, “We’re going to actually have the baby in London while I’m shooting, so there will be no downtime whatsoever after that.” Tatum also called the unborn child his “greatest production yet.

Tatum didn’t explain what project would be taking him across the pond. However, he is currently filming Foxcatcher, which co-stars Steve Carrell, Mark Ruffalo, and Sienna Miller. The film is based on the murder of Olympic wrestler David Schultz by John du Pont, a multimillionaire who suffered from paranoid schizophrenia. The film title is taken from the name of du Pont’s family estate in Wilmington, Delaware, Foxcatcher Farm.

Dewan-Tatum proudly displayed her baby bump in a body-hugging black and lace Rachel Roy gown with cap sleeves and a deep V-neck. She paired the look with Irene Neuwirth earrings. The actress most recently appeared in American Horror Story: Asylum and will be appearing in the upcoming TV series The Witches of East End. She also recently admitted to having “pregnant hormonal dreams” about flying on a magic carpet.

Tatum and his wife have decided not to find out their baby’s gender until after it’s born. Tatum said, “We’re going to be surprised, I think we’re going to do that on this one. It’s one of the only real surprises that you’re ever gonna get that’s legit.”

The couple, both 32, announced the pregnancy in December of last year. The two married in 2009 after dating for three years.
