Yule log video tradition goes digital

As fans may already know, the Yule log broadcast that has been much improved with the advent of HDTVs and flatscreens runs generally for a four hour period on local stations like New York’s WPIX.

But now that we’ve all got fancy-schmancy iPhones, iPods and dazzling widescreen laptops, you can port the Yule Log experience to the dinner table or in the evening over Christmas tequila. WPIX in New York, originators of the Yule Log tradition, are offering downloads of the iconic clip for iPods and iPhones. (You can also shout out the log on Twitter, @PIXYULELOG.)
